Job Description

We are hiring immediately for a Customer Service Representative for a light manufacturing facility in Clearfield, UT. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be performing a variety of clerical duties. It will be your responsibility to answer emails and phone calls professionally and efficiently.

Pay will be $13-$15 DOE.

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday
  • 9: 00 am to 5: 00 pm

Responsibilities:

  • Answer all incoming phone calls from customers on a variety of topics.
  • Make outbound calls to customers in regards to their returned product for repair and warranty.
  • Explain the warranty to customers based on company policy.
  • Communicate the repair procedure to customers.
  • Offer alternative solutions, if not under warranty.
  • Implement the correct policies and the most cost-efficient methods for providing routine services, including warranty authorizations, proof of delivery, following up on shipments, etc.
  • Perform order entry and credit card transactions.
  • Demonstrate excellent telephone etiquette, multitasking, and problem-solving.
  • Demonstrate good judgment and product knowledge in answering emails, mail-ins, and other non-phone related issues.
  • Assist with customer service software as needed.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of customer service experience.
  • High school diploma or GED or higher.
  • Some college experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Able to learn the product lines in detail and understand the performance and technical features of each of the models.
  • Extraordinary telephone skills and outstanding command of the English language, including correct US grammar.
  • Able to make quick decisions and walk customers through problems.
  • Able to read computer screens and various reports.
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, including a can-do attitude, curiosity, and the ability to think strategically.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with PowerPoint and order entry software a plus, but not required.
  • Must be courteous, helpful, and be very sensitive to the public image of the company.
  • Ability to multitask on a variety of projects.
